Mid-century decor at its finest!
Pair of large hand carved and hand painted three-dimensional wooden Wall Hangings of Don Rodrigo (El Cid, 11th century Castilian warlord) and his wife Doña Ximena. They're beautiful with lots of cool details: made in the Castile region of Spain.
Excellent vintage condition: no cracks or chips. There are a couple of small spots on Ximena's skirt where the paint has rubbed. This is minor and only adds to her look. They're both lined on the back with newspaper, added later.
