1950s Hand Painted Cotton Blouse 50's Women's Shirt 50s Vintage Size Medium
50s vintage cotton blouse hand painted in turquoise, black and gold paisley pattern on white.
Features a two-layered pointed collar with a string tie at the neck, slight dolman sleeves with cuffs, a tailored waist and metal buttons.
Hand washed, hung dry and steamed by me.
Fair to good vintage condition: the seams are strong, there are no holes or repairs, but there is yellowing and fading under the arms and across the upper back. This is still a very fine and wearable collector piece.
Best fits a size medium, with the slight dolman sleeves, it's meant to be blousy in the bust area. Pictured on a size 4 mannequin and pinned to fit. There is no stretch to the fabric. Please see measurements:
