1970s True Vintage Christmas Sweater by Southern Lady - 70s Christmas Sweater - Women's Vintage Size Large/ XL

The original kitschy Christmas sweater by Southen Lady. At the height of the "ugly" Christmas sweater craze, some companies began to print reproductions based on the cool, old vintage ones, and many used this pattern. Different images but this type of look: a thin knit pullover, color-blocking and a stamp-like Christmas image. This one is so cute and classic and has the sweetest image of Santa, lovely winter trees in the background, snow, a chimney, a beautiful reindeer and a big red bow to decorate the corner. Just adorable! The neckline, cuffs and waist are ribbed.
I included a photo of the inside of the sweater to show how the image is woven in. it looks cool.
Made in the USA.

Great vintage condition: no tears, fading, stains or repairs. Some minor pilling here and there. Shows some wear normal for age but thus only adds to its legit vintage appeal.

Hand washed, dried flat and steamed by me. Ready to wear.

Approximately a size Large/XL, pictured here on a size 10 mannequin has wiggle room. There is some stretch to the fabric, though the measurements were taken without stretching.
