1940s Juventa Peignoir from Paris with Original Tag Attached - 40s Lingerie - 50s Women's Vintage Size Large
Rare 40s Juventa peignoir in lovely blue satin with a lace overlay. Made and purchased in Paris in the late 1940s.
Features beautiful scallop-edged butterfly sleeves, a plunging neckline with button closure at waist and a wide ribbon drawstring belt (making the waist adjustable).
This a really special piece, in a gorgeous color. I got it at an estate sale and the owner informed me on the origin and time period.
Excellent vintage condition: Never worn, NOS, tag still attached. I didn't clean it to preserve its never worn/new condition. it has a faint "storage" smell from being stored for decades. It should come out when cleaned.
Approximately a size large pictured on a size 10 mannequin and the drawstring waist was pulled to fit. No stretch to the fabric. Please see measurements:
