Elegant 1960s necklace with pendant. It was originally purchased in Italy in the 60s. Now from an estate sale in Savannah, GA. Givenchy produced a very similar design in the late 70s. I love this pendant! it looks handmade and the shape is a cube instead of a flat square. So dainty and pretty!
This is just a nice and special piece of fashion history that's timeless.
The chain is marked "Italy" and the pendant is marked "Sterling", which shows its age as pre 1970s, before the 925 mark was in use.
Great vintage condition. The chain has two "bumps" in it from decades of storing it flat. These will straighten with wear/care.
