Vintage 1970's JC Penney evening gown in gorgeous lavender with sheer capelet.
The bodice is princess cut wth two curved overlapping pieces that give it a beautiful Greek Goddes look.
The waist is fitted and the a-line skirt has a dramamtic drape to the floor.
The fabric is a very soft polyester polyester that has lots of movement when you walk.
The capelet is sheer, soft and flowy with a three snap closure.
The gown is finished with a long back zip closure.
It says dry clean only, but I hand washed it, hung it dry and steamed it and it turned out beautifully.
Excellent vintage condition: no tears, stains, holes or repairs.
