Adorable 2pc 1970s plaid suit with tailored jacket and straight skirt,by Marty Gutmacher. The silhouette has a 1940s look.
The jacket has a yoked shoulder, princess seams, slightly puffed showers and a metal button closure.
The skirt is a pull-on (no closure). I can't tell if there was elastic in the waist at one time but the waist is stationary and there are two secret snap pockets sewn inside the front.
Not lined.
The fabric feels like a poly blend.
Excellent vintage condition, no holes, tears, stains or repairs.
Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
Approximately a size medium/lg, pictured on a size 1p mannequinand the skirt is pinned to fit. Please see measurements:
